- 4.5 mm. Crochet Hook

- CH – Chain
- SL ST – Slip Stitch
- ST – Stitch
- YO – Yarn Over
- CL ST – Cluster Stitch (DC 3 together into the same CH-space)
- DC – Double Crochet
Instructions
CH 4. and join with a SL ST into the first CH. You will now have a small circle, that you will be working your ST into.
Round 1. CH 2 ( CH 2 will count as a DC) DC into the circle. CH 2. *DC 2 together into the circle. CH 2* Repeat from *-*. 6 more times. You will have 8 groups in the round. SL ST into the first ST of the round.
Round 2. Make a SL ST into the first CH-space of the previous round. CH 2. DC 2 together into the same CH-space. CH 2. Make a CL ST. (This will create the first corner). CH *2. Make 3 DC into the next CH-space. (This will create the side of the sqaure). CH 2. CL ST. CH 2. CL ST. into the next CH-space*. Repeat from *-* all the way around untill you have 4 corners and 4 sides in your sqaure. SL ST. into the first ST.
Round 3. Make a SL ST into the first CH- space of the previous round. CH 2. DC 2 together into the same CH-space. CH 2. Make a CL ST.. CH 2. *2 DC into the next CH-space. DC in next 3 ST. 2 DC in next CH-space. CL ST. CH 2 CL ST into the next CH-space*. Repeat from *-* all the way around untill you have 4 corners and 4 sides in your sqaure. SL ST into the first ST.
Round 4. Make a SL ST into the first CH- space of the previous round. CH 2. DC 2 together into the same CH-space. CH 2. Make a CL ST. CH 2. *2 DC into the next CH-space.
