Crochet Baby Pants
I have been so exited to publish this pattern for these crocheted baby pants in soft baby merino wool. They are just so soft, comfy and super cute.
The fit of these pants is perfect for a chubby little baby. They are spacious enough for a diaper and have a practical elastic ribbed waistband. The pants are also equipped with a strap in the waistband, so they can be adjusted to fit even the slim babies.
These crochet baby pants are made in wonderfully soft baby merino, which makes them feel nice and soft to sensitive baby skin.
The pants are easy and quick to crochet, and the project is suitable for beginners.

I’ve been working on these pants and have been wondering what is wrong with them and then I watched your video and realized it was because you only had used the back loops for the ribbing parts. I just wanted to let you know because your pattern doesn’t say anything about the back loops.
Thank You so much for making me aware of this. I will correct the pattern immediately Sorry for the inconvenience 🙂
Thank you for your comment. I am glad that you liked the pattern. I will look into it 🙂

The legs appear to come to different lengths. Leg 1 is done on rows 18-29, 12 rows, but leg 2 goes rows 2-29, which is 27 rows. Obviously you’d make them the same length, but thought it would be a good update.
Loving the pattern so far, making the cutest pants.
Hi Melissa,
Thank You for making me aware of this. I will have a look at it, and correct it 🙂
I’ve just finished them. So cute!!! Thank you for sharing the pattern and the video. It was very handy to double check a move or to learn a new stitch.
You are very welcome 🙂 Im so glad to hear that You liked the pattern and tutorial 🙂
Why is it when crochet legs the st. Looks different
Sorry i don´t know that. They should not look different.
Love these! But my leg keeps twisting? Seam doesn’t keep straight. Sad thing is I made a pair a couple of years ago and they were perfect! I have watched the video and still the seam twists. Can you advise me?
Hi Camille 🙂
Thank you for your comment. When working in rounds the seam will always twist, this can not be fixed. But when using the seamless join technique the seam will not be so visible.
I hope that it all works out for you. Have fun with your project.
I just finished this project and it is adorable! Because I used a different yarn, I measured as I went and ended up needing less stitches and rows. It was very easy to follow and I am so happy with how it turned out. Thank you for sharing this pattern.
That’s wonderful to hear! Congratulations on finishing the project, and it’s great that you were able to adjust the pattern to suit the yarn you were using. It’s always helpful to measure as you go and make adjustments as needed. I’m glad the pattern was easy to follow, and that you’re pleased with how your project turned out. You’re very welcome for the pattern, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback!
