Crochet baby socks
I have designed these adorable baby socks with a great deal of focus on comfort and fit. They are crocheted in super soft baby merino yarn, which has the wonderful characteristic of being very soft and elastic, which gives these socks the ultimate comfort. In addition, I have made the design to fit perfectly on both heel and toe.
The socks are made with a wide ribbed edge at the top, so the socks wraps around the ankle and does not fall off, even on lively little feet 🙂
The sock are crocheted from the toe and up. The Ribbing and the heel will be crocheted on in the end.
You can find the free patterns below in size 0-3 months. If you want to make the Baby Socks in other sizes you can buy the ad-free PDF pattern in 5 different sizes from 0-24 months right here: CROCHET BABY SOCKS PATTERN

The socks are lovely and I would love to make some, but you’ve omitted the hook size. I have a brand new grandneice and would love her to wear handmade socks Thanks for sharing this sweet pattern.

Yay made my 1st pair of baby socks. Thank you so much for this easy pattern.
Congratulations! well done 😀 I am glad to hear that you liked the pattern 🙂
I’m lost at step one. Do you make a mc of 12? Or do you increase with hdc?
Never mind! I found the video and realized we had different views on what a mc is! I get it now 😀
Good 🙂 Have fun the project 🙂
Please suggest a substitute yarn for these socks. I am not familiar with Drops yarn. Thanks…love the pattern.
Thank You for your comment. Sorry I am not really familiar with any kind of yarn that would do well with this pattern. But I will look into it.
I used a random sport weight yarn that I had in my stash and got the same measurements as the pattern, so I think as long as you make sure gauge is right you can use any sport weight. Hope this helps!
Thank You for that. I am sure that will be helpful to someone 🙂
Love this easy to follow pattern. I used sock weight yarn. My only issue is that the heel turned out very pointy and square. What do you think happened
Hi Marta,
Thank you very much for your comment. Glad you found the pattern easy to follow. It is difficult to answer why the heel has become pointy. I have never experienced that myself. Could it possibly be because you sewed the heel together on the right side instead of the wrong side? I hope you find a solution to the problem.
