For this tutorial I am using Drops Merino Extra Fine in color 36 Amethyst. And Clover amour crochet hook 5mm.
Instructions
- Make a slip stitch and a number of chains that are a multible of 3 + 2.
- Start row 1. by skipping the first 2 chains and make a single crochet in the 3rd chain from crochet hook.
- Then make 2 chains and 1 more single crochet in the same chain.
- Skip 2 stitches and make a single crochet, 2 chains and 1 more single crochet in the same chain.
- Repeat this process across the row until you have 2 stitches left in the row.
- Skip the next stitch and make a half double crochet in the last stitch of the row.
- Start row 2 by making 3 chains and turn your work. The 3 chains will count as the first double crochet of row 2.
- Skip the next 2 stitches and make 3 double crochet in the next chain 2 space from the previous row.
- Skip 2 stitches and make 3 double crochet in the next chain 2 space. Repeat across the row, by making 3 double crochet in every chain 2 space of the row.
- At the end of the row you have 2 stitches left. Skip the next stitch and make a double crochet in the last stitch of the row.
- Start row 3 by making 2 chains and turn your work. The 2 chains will count as the first half double crochet of row 3.
- Skip the next 2 stitches and make 1 single crochet, 2 chains, and 1 more single crochet into the same stitch.
- Skip 2 stitches and make 1 single crochet, 2 chains and 1 more single crochet into the same stitch.
- Repeat across the row until you have 2 stitches left.
- Skip the next stitch and make a half double crochet in the top of the 3 chains from the previous row.
- Repeat the 2 previous rows until you are satisfied with the length of your work.
