Iris crochet baby dress
This lovely crochet baby dress is the most adorable piece of clothing for a little baby girl. Crochet dresses can be made in more or less advanced and beautiful crochet stitches and patterns. I have chosen to keep this pattern in relatively simple stitches, which gives an adorable and feminine lace pattern, that is really easy to make, even for beginners.
This dress pattern has a very practical lose and draped fit, and can therefore be used for a very long time. First it can be used as a long dress, and later as a tunic, as the child grows.
You can find the free patterns below in size 3-6 months. If you want to make the Dress in other sizes, you can buy the ad-free PDF pattern in sizes 3-18 months right here: IRIS CROCHET BABY DRESS

Hej Maria,
Mvh. Marie
Do you have a video of the dress .
I do not have it yet. Sorry. I might make one 🙂
Quiero ver el video del vestido
Gracias por la buena sugerencia. Haré un video sobre cómo tejer este vestido a crochet lo antes posible 🙂
Do you have any preemie or micro preemie patterns for this dress?
unfortunately I do not have that, but you can possibly try with some thinner yarn, it will give you a smaller dress.
Can I crochet this dress with Paton Grace cotton?
I don’t know the exact yarn you mention, but the yarn I use is 8/4 cotton. However, there can be a difference in the thickness, so you may end up with a smaller dress than mine, when you use a different yarn.
Hii
I have a problem with row 9. My stitch count is the same till row 8 (114) but on the 9th I skip the 4 chains and continue with the pattern, it always turns up 140 st and not 150.
Hi 🙂
Im sorry I can´t really seem to figure out where you have gone wrong in the process. I plan on making a video tutorial for this pattern, to make it more clear.
Love this dress pattern!
Thank so much Daphne 🙂 I am very happy to hear that 🙂
This is my first time making and actual outfit its going great! Thank you but I do have a question when you get to the skirt section do I continue to turn my work or just keep working around? I hope thats not a silly question. Thanks
Hello Deena 🙂
Wow that’s really well done, especially as a beginner 🙂 The skirt is crocheted in rounds without turning.
Hi, what would happen if I made this pattern with worsted yarn?
Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee how the size will turn out if you use any other type of yarn. But you can always give it a try. If the dress is too big, it can always be used at a later time. Best of luck with your project 🙂
