Love it!! But, I’m not seeing any other sizes 😢
Thank You 🙂 There is a Link in the text 🙂
Where is the yarn size ply?
There is a link to yarn I am using, go and check that out to see.
Would it be possible to use a #3 light dk yarn with a 3mm hook for this pattern? Last time I used a 3.5 mm hook and the project turned out too big.
Would this pattern work with a #3 light dk baby yarn and a 3mm hook? Last time I tried it with a 3.5 mm hook and the project turned out too big. I was wondering if using a smaller hook or yarn would make a difference.
Yes That is what I used. It is also what the pattern recommends. It always makes a lot of difference what hook size and yarn you use 🙂
Hi, I want to use an Aran wool. What size hook would you recommend for a 0-3 months size hat?
Thanks
Ps I love the hat!
Hi Barbara,
Aran wool ia alot thicker than the yarn that I am using for this pattern so you will have to ajust the pattern to make it in this yarn. Regarding your question about hooksize, the recommended hooksize for aran yarn is 4.5-5.5 mm. But it will depend on your tension and prefered result.
Good luck on your project 🙂
Thanks for your prompt answer Marie. I will use 4.5 mm and check it for size as I go along. I do appreciate your quick reply as my 2 grandchildren are due late November and December! I have already crocheted a romper suit, mittens and booties, so a hat would complete the outfits.
Again, thanks for the inspiration and advice
